Flipper HQ ("the app", "we") is a profit tracker for sports card resellers, made by CotasCards. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The short version: your data exists to run your account, we don't sell it, and you can permanently delete it yourself at any time.
Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address, a password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see it), your name, and an optional username used for your public share link. You may also opt in to receive occasional updates from CotasCards; this choice is stored with your account.
Your business data. The content you add to the app: card inventory, purchase costs, estimated values, sales, expenses, time logs, and show records. This data belongs to you and is used solely to provide the app's features to you.
Automatically collected information. Our service providers (hosting and database) may log basic technical information such as IP address and request data as part of operating and securing their services. Flipper HQ does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
We use your information to operate your account, sync your data across devices, calculate your stats and ranks, and provide app features. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Sharing is off by default. If you choose to create a share link, the cards you individually mark as public — along with your username — are visible to anyone who has your link. You can unmark cards or stop sharing at any time from within the app.
Flipper HQ runs on Supabase (database and authentication) and Netlify (hosting and serverless functions). Your data is stored and processed by these providers on our behalf, subject to their own security practices and privacy policies.
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time using the Delete account link inside the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Flipper HQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and database access is restricted per-account. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
